"How the biological definition of Parkinson's disease leads to disease prevention studies" - Dr. Tanya Simuni, MD
Dr. Tanya Simuni is the Chief of Movement Disorders and the Arthur C. Nielsen, Jr., Research Professor at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. As a specialist in movement disorders, she leads the multidisciplinary Movement Disorders Center at Northwestern.
Dr. Simuni's research specifically focuses on Parkinson's disease modification clinical trials and biomarker validation. She holds key leadership roles in global PD initiatives, including the Parkinson's Progression Markers Initiative (PPMI).
The lecture will take place on Thursday, July 2nd, 2026, 16:00-17:00 via Zoom.
